Trailer: Anthony Hopkins Tracks a Killer in ‘Blackway’

Blackway looks like one of those little gems that’ll end up going straight to video – but is destined to be a pleasant surprise for anyone that picks up a copy (see Beyond the Reach, Cut Bank from the past year).

The film’s lead, Anthony Hopkins is at an interesting stage in his career, previously starring in the underrated Solace, masterfully performed The Dresser and thrilling Misconduct – and this positive trajectory looks set to continue with Blackway.

Set in the rugged Pacific Northwest, a logger (Anthony Hopkins) still grieving over the loss of his daughter comes to the aid of a young woman (Julia Stiles), who is being harassed by a local crime lord, and helps hunt down her stalker (Ray Liotta).
