Culture Fix is a freelance, UK-based popular culture site. Our passions are cinema, Eurovision and its National Finals (Melodifestivalen, Melodi Grand Prix, Supernova etc.), pop/country/cabaret music, supporting LGBTQ+ talent, and theatre.
Film
Established in 2010, we aim to give a fun and balanced look at some of the most talked about cinematic, festival, independent and home video releases. We have previously covered the Sundance Film Festival, Sundance London, BFI Flare, Edinburgh International Film Festival, French Film Festival, and Glasgow Film Festival as press.
Music
We’re also equally devoted to great pop, country and cabaret music and aim to cover the latest single and album releases from around the globe.
Rising Musical Talent
We pride ourselves on providing a platform for emerging musical talent and have given exposure to numerous rising stars in the world of pop, hyperpop, country, cabaret, and indie music. Information on submitting music can be found here.
Eurovision and National Finals
Through our coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest and National Finals including Melodifestivalen, Melodi Grand Prix and Eurovision: You Decide we have run numerous interviews, features and news articles.
Theatre
You’ll find theatre reviews and coverage of major festivals like the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Edinburgh International Festival which we have covered as members of press. Our live coverage has been centred on cabaret, theatre, drag, and music.
