The Sanderson Sisters Return in New Teaser Trailer for Disney’s ‘Hocus Pocus 2’

The iconic cult trio from 1993’s Hocus Pocus return in Disney Plus’s all new sequel on September 30th. Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker return as The Sanderson Sisters, ready to wreak havoc and run amok on Salem once more. They are joined by returning star Doug Jones, and newbies Tony Hale, Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham and Belisa Escobedo.

The official synopsis shares: “It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.”

Nearly thirty years after the original, we are delighted to see a sequel to the cult classic come to fruition. Fans can also expect a musical number in a similar fashion to the first film’s iconic I Put a Spell On You – this time Winnifred and co. take on Blondie’s One Way or Another. Camp!
