Pinktastic Plastixx Deliver High Energy Music Video For Pop-Punk Anthem ‘SUPER SEXXY’

You may remember our feature and interview centred on Los Angeles legend Kitten Kay Sera, the pinkest person in the world. In our interview, multi-hyphenate star Kitten teased her work with band Pinktastic Plastixx and we are delighted that the group’s first single and video are now here.

The band are as follows: Kitten Kay Sera on vocals, Celinda Chang on guitar, Rocky Rose on keytar, Alexa Rae on drums and Aurora Celena on bass. The group drop SUPER SEXXY a rock-flavoured anthem that packs that alternative new wave pop energy of classic artists of the likes of the B-52s, The Go Go’s and The Waitresses.

Kitten shared with us: “Having an all girl band has been a dream of mine! But I really wanted to cast the right vibe ..right tribe. I was not just building a band, I was building a BRAND. We formed in August 2022 so our big 1 year anniversary is coming up! I have a custom made pink blow dryer microphone that I love! It goes with the whole look!” You can see that already iconic dryer mic in the accompanying video.

The band have already caused a splash in LA’s nightlife scene, performing at legendary venues The Viper Room and The Whisky a GoGo.

Of course, any project from Kitten wouldn’t be complete without some fabulously pink aesthetics and SUPER SEXXY is accompanied by an eye-catching video from Robert Sotello that captures this – as well as the infectious, fun energy that Pinkastic Plastixx promote.
