NINA joins forces with Radio Wolf for two stellar new singles My Dark and Bluesbreaker. The tracks which play with dark synth sounds have an eerie mysticism about them, thanks to enigmatic lyrics and intoxicating production.
NINA shares: “We were definitely exploring our dark side together…we wanted the lyrics and sounds to inspire a timeless, romantic quality…a sound and feeling that’s wild at heart.” The musician’s creative partner on the tracks, Radio Wolf, shares: “By fusing modern electronic technology with older more organic music styles like rock ‘n’ roll, we create our own mythical lyric and sonic territory.”
Bluesbreaker, likes it name suggests packs a raunchy blues meets electronic energy, brimming with sultry lyrics including “Killer in a nightdress…Burn me up…Cure me of the bad…Riding waves of fire…Night lust.” My Dark packs a ruthless yet playful tone tapping into dark romanticism in lines such as: “Heavy…Burn…Ignite…My cruel heart…Sweet dreams, I’ll be your nightmare.”
