British singer-songwriter Benedict Cork returns with new single Soulmates. Benedict has knocked it out the park with the single, which he collaborates on with co-writer and co-producer Justin Tailor, with the track seamlessly incorporating elements of singer-songwriter pop, gospel flourishes, and electronic pop touches. The number serves as the first taste of Benedict’s upcoming studio album which is due to arrive in the coming months.
Benedict sat down with Culture Fix to discuss the story behind Soulmates, his first steps into the world of music, and the influences behind his impressive musical discography. Amongst other topics covered, Benedict delved into major career achievements including being publicly praised by the legendary Sir Elton John, supporting Adam Lambert, and taking to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall.
