“I keep on chasing what I’m scared to catch / And calling it love when it’s just sex and / Maybe I’m just like that, cause you and me / You and me, we haven’t met yet…” Iggy sings on his latest soulful single Met Yet. It is a high energy number that celebrates finding a pure distraction free love. The number is penned by Iggy with Kurt Stolle, Ramona Schwarz and Steven Bashir with production from Kim Wennerström.
Iggy shares: “In a time where “love” is losing its meaning, I always chase the thrill and beauty of a rare connection. That’s what I’m trying to address in the song. I won’t stop chasing until I find it. Real connections are rare in our time. I believe in its beauty and that it’s out there, so I won’t stop looking until I find it.”
The single comes attached with a video directed by Tobias “Puschel” Trettin. Iggy previously released his sophomore album This Is Iggy last year. Connect with him here.
