Ulrikke’s announcement of her return to Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix has been met with huge excitement among Eurovision fans across the globe. The star was due to represent her home nation in 2020 with the sublime Attention, but plans were thrown into the air by the pandemic. Now three years on, Ulrikke returns to the competition with a new entry Honestly and this is a song that was truly worth the wait.
Ulrikke competes in Melodi Grand Prix’s first semi-final on Saturday the 14th of January 2023 and Culture Fix caught up with her this week to find out all about her upcoming performance. Ulrikke delved into the emotional story behind Honestly, whether fan favourite Falling Apart was ever a MGP contender, and why now was the right time to return to fight for Norway’s Eurovision glory.
