Like many, we are delighted by the return of earlier RuPaul’s Drag Race icons on the seventh All Stars season – including Raja and Jinkx Monsoon. Jinkx releases new single Know-It-All to coincide with her Drag Race return – the first taste of her upcoming EP due later this year.
Penned by Major Scales (Richard Andriessen) and produced by Yair Evnine, Know-It-All navigates a similar sound to Jinkx’s The Ginger Snapped album thanks to its vaudeville flavours and theatrical energy. Packed with Jinkx’s sultry vocals and multi-instrumental production, as well as an earworming chorus – the single is classic Jinkx and has successfully whet our appetite for her the upcoming EP.
Jinkx released her debut LP The Inevitable Album back in 2014 and followed this with its successor The Ginger Snapped in 2018. She has since dropped collaboration holiday album The Jinkx and Dela Holiday Special with fellow Drag Race alumni Bendelacreme.
