Preview: Wahlberg & Crowe in Broken City

One of our most hotly anticipated films of 2013 is Broken City, an edgy action-thriller featuring Mark Wahlberg, Russell Crowe and Catherine Zeta Jones.

When disgraced cop turned private detective Billy Taggart (Mark Wahlberg) is hired by NYC’s mayor (Russell Crowe) to tail his wife (Catherine Zeta-Jones), he uncovers a city-wide conspiracy of corruption, sex, and murder. With his life threatened at every turn, Billy finds himself faced with an impossible choice, which could have disastrous repercussions for his career and family.

With Allen Hughes (From Hell) directing, we are expecting big things of Broken City and judging from the trailer it seems like we shall not be disappointed. It seems we can expect plenty of shifty plot twists, bone crunching action and striking performances.

Broken City is released in UK cinemas on March the 1st 2013.
