Danish Star Christopher Drops ‘Hope This Song Is For You’ Ahead of Acting Role in Netflix’s ‘A Beautiful Life’

Danish pop heartthrob Christopher is soon to become a screen heartthrob also after taking centre stage in Netflix’s upcoming music drama A Beautiful Life. The star who has become a regular chart presence in Denmark releases the first taste of the film’s soundtrack, Hope This Song Is For You with the full soundtrack expected to follow on June 1st, coinciding with the film’s release.

The synopsis for the feature notes: “Elliott, a young fisherman with an extraordinary voice, gets the chance of a lifetime when he is discovered by the successful high-profile music manager, Suzanne. Suzanne soon pairs Elliott with her estranged daughter and music producer, Lilly. On his way to becoming a star, struggles from the past threaten not only his big breakthrough but also the budding love with Lilly.” Christopher takes on the lead role of Elliott with Mehdi Avaz directing and a writing from Stefan Jaworski.

Christopher writes the track alongside Daniel Schulz and Jeppe London – the latter also produces.
