Ukrainian Pop Sensation Max Barskih Drops English Language Pop Banger ‘Rich’

Our love for Ukraine’s Max Barskih knows no limits and his latest number Rich only highlights his talents even more. The star has been flirting with English language tunes on a number of his singles over the years and Rich is one of his strongest. The number is set to feature on the Ukrainian heartthrob’s upcoming English studio album which is due to be released through Warner Music Poland.

A press release shares: “Rich, filmed in a humorous and grotesque style and dedicated to the relevance of the issue of humanity, life values ​​and personality regression. The new track became the 3rd release in cooperation with the international label Warner Music Poland and marks the return of the singer to work on an English-language album.”

On the ambitious video which sees Max take on a number of roles, the release shares: “The singer’s new video clip became the most difficult of Max’s entire creative collaboration with director Alan Badoev. A 200-person film crew, a month of preparation, three days of non-stop shooting and 2 years of waiting – that’s how much effort Barsky and Badoev needed to see the world of their new work.” It continues: “In the video, the artist appears in 5 unexpected images: a beggar, Louis XIV, an Egyptian pharaoh, the “wolf of Wall Street” and a primitive man, and in a few minutes, together with the viewer, he goes from the Christmas dream of financial independence to moral degradation. Alan Badoev:”

Max shares: “I am very proud of this work, because it shows how powerful production was in pre-war Ukraine. Without leaving our favorite city, we could create Hollywood, Bollywood and even something more. 200 people worked for three days to create a beautiful story and present the viewer with a holiday…”
