Canada’s Alex Sampson delivers a smash of epic proportions in his latest single Blind, a huge electronic pop anthem that asserts him as a star to watch out for. The musician has been impressing with his collaborations with Warner Records including Play Pretend and Til the World Gets Sick of Us, but Blind signals an exciting new chapter for the rising star and the arrival of his debut EP.
Alex delivers star quality, impassioned vocals and an impressive pop swagger on Blind, a number which signals international success for the musician. Alex croons: “Even if I / Go blind tonight / You’re still stuck in my mind / Took the framing off the wall / But kept the pictures inside…” against pounding electronic production from Dylan Rouda. The track is co-written by Alex, Alexandra Tamposi, Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Dylan Rouda, Louis Bell and Luke Hemmings.
Alex’s debut EP Blurry Vision is coming January 19th 2024. The Canadian pop hunk shares: “This project has secretly been in the works all year and you have NO idea how hard it has been to keep my big teasing mouth SHUT!!” He adds: “My team and I have worked tirelessly on making this EP the absolute best it can be and represent who I am as an artist and I can whole heartedly say it does just that.” You can pre-save here.
