Ross Lynch & The Driver Era deliver a swaggering pop-rock number with new single Rumors. The duo is made up of brothers Ross Lynch and Rocky Lynch, who also featured in the line-up as part of now defunct band R5. The cut is an infectious alt-pop number that captures exploring trying to block out harmful rumours.
“These rumors these rumors / We’re caught up in rumors / I bet you wish you knew the truth / About the things I do…” the Ross croons on the chorus for the new single. The release follows lead singer Ross‘s recent appearance in Troye Sivan’s video for One of Your Girls. Ross says of the track: “Rumors these Rumors, no one really knows… The internet doesn’t always have the facts. We wrote a song about it and I hope you like it.”
Ross and Rocky released album X in 2019 through BMG, followed by 2021 LP Girlfriend. Expect more music to come in the coming months.
