Belgian trip-hop legends Hooverphonic continue the journey to their as yet unannounced twelfth album with latest single And Then I Found You. Written and produced by the band’s Alex Callier, the number sees the group once again move towards a slinking electronic pop soundscape.
Shifting sonic direction from previous single, the Latin flavoured Por Favor, And Then I Found You sees Geike Arnaert croon “I don’t know what I’m heading for / I don’t know who to call / It’s getting through a desert without me / What every mile seems to say…” in the band’s grooving pre-chorus. Accompanied by pulsating electronic rhythms and danceable beats, the number shines as one of Hooverphonic’s strongest in recent years.
Since their Eurovision Song Contest turn with The Wrong Place in 2021, Hooverphonic released album Hidden Stories. They’ve released further singles Don’t Think and Mysterious since the LP’s release.
