Australian-Macedonian star Bobi Andonov releases his debut EP IN BAD COMPANY. The lush cinematic EP sees Bobi co-write the tracks with an array of collaborators who help craft this reflective, textured listen. The musician shares: “This project was fueled by honesty, even during lonely times. I embraced both love and dislike, staying true to myself.”
Delving into themes of desire and darkness, Bobi leaves an element of mystery in his compositions – yet slick pop hooks are present in the scintillating Late Text as well as powerhouse emotive vocals. Potential blends slick electronic R&B flavours, whilst Freeform captures a grooving romantic energy whilst retaining the EP’s element of intoxicating mystery. Alt-pop and intrigue are on the menu for Guilty, which retains a rousing production style and Bobi’s rich vocal textures.
IN BAD COMPANY captures Bobi as a talent on the rise – brimming with rich sonic landscapes, impassioned vocals, and storytelling instilled with mystery and intrigue.
