Heroes has been cemented into the lexicon of Eurovision winning anthems, but Måns Zelmerlöw reveals that it was reveals the Euroclassic was in competition with new track Running Low to be Måns’s entry into the 2015 Melodifestivalen selection. Fans now get to hear the proposed entry as Måns and his band The Arrangement release their take on the track.
Running Low is penned by Gavin Jones, Johan Åsgärde, Mattias Frändå, Måns Zelmerlöw and Oliver Lundström, with production from Peter Kvint. The track is released through Warner Music Sweden and picks up after the Eurovision winner’s 2022 English language singles What You Were Made For and Midsummer Lover.
Måns shares: “This was the song I told Warner Music Sweden wanted to do in Melodifestivalen 2015, and that would’ve been the story had not Heroes come along. I’ve been wanting to release it ever since and TODAY’S THE DAY!”
