Interview: Malta’s The Busker Chat ‘Dance (Our Own Party)’ and the Eurovision Song Contest 2023

The Busker represent Malta at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool with their track Dance (Our Own Party). The high energy, sax-heavy number provides some fun and escapist party vibes to the contest which band members David, JP and Sean selling it with an infectious enthusiasm. Dance (Our Own Party) is written by David Meilak.

It was a pleasure to sit down with The Busker to chat all things Eurovision and find out a little about the band’s story and journey to the contest. They shared some details about their blueprint for Eurovision success, experiences of the UK and some recommendations of must visit places in Malta. David, Jean Paul and Sean also delved into our quickfire question which was a highlight.
