Written by Cannon Mapp, Eritza Laues and Frankie, with production from Alx Stefano, Drippin’ In Love is a slinky soulful number that feels inspired by classics from the world of seventies soul.
Frankie’s smooth vocals are complimented by brass and string arrangements for fantastic results, with the single shining as an elegant dancefloor number bustling with sultry grooves. The singer shared his journey as an independent artist upon the track’s release:
“One day I will get to share the rest of my story with you . It’s much deeper than most people will ever know. This has never been about fancy cars , expensive clothes , and the idea of being “famous”. I’m not trying to make records to go viral on tik tok , I’m trying make music that will play at your grandchild’s wedding in 30 years. I want to make music that brings joy and hope and love to the world. I have always dreamt of moments like this , but don’t be fooled this is 12 years in the making , waiting for a big label executive to give me my dream deal and the funds to create great music , and work with the best musicians and songwriters and producers. Guess what ?! I never got that deal , so I created it for myself.”
