Rising musical talent GESS returns with a brand new EP Tangerine to ease us into the summer months. The three track set presents GESS at his best thanks to its laid back grooves and breezy vibes heard on tracks: Fuckboys, Summer Nights and Tangerine.
Fuckboys opens the set with a cool sense of defiance, whilst Summer Nights packs a similar sexy confidence blending minimal electronic production with GESS’s soulful vocal as it builds to its slinky, romantic chorus. EP closer Tangerine, packs a suggestive and sultry tone comparing a lover to being ‘sweet like a tangerine’.
The EP follows GESS’s previous 2022 releases Plastic and Intuition.
