Independent artist Mike Taveira has impressed with previous anthems including Karma and Heart, and now the handsome rising talent returns with his latest single Switch. From its savvy lyricism to its mix of brass, rippling electric guitar basslines and Mike’s smooth vocals, Switch shines as yet another of the artist’s instantly enjoyable releases pop releases that sticks with you.
Switch is written by Mike alongside Evangelia Psarakis, Paul Mauer, Skyler Cocco, and Will Dailey and produced by DALE. The track sees Mike sing about someone having the ability to flip him like a switch – in a heated romantic metaphor set to funk-infused production.
The singer was recently able to test the track out a Pride gig in New York City last week. He shared on his social channels “I AM SO FCKIN HYPE FOR MY LEAD SINGLE. there’s so much to tell you about this song and what’s coming next.” We’re excited too!
