The Eurovision France: C’est vous qui decidez! stars all vying to be the nation’s 2021 Eurovision entry have now all released their tracks. The varied selection saw us quickly find three firm favourites from artists Terence James, Ali, and Casanova, the three of which we have featured in more detail below.
Terence James – Je T’Emmènerai Danser
Terence James made a name for himself in France as a star of The Voice where he reached the semi-finals. Establishing a solid fanbase, the Scottish singer has debuted Je T’Emmènerai Danser (I’ll Take You Dancing) an anthemic multi-instrumental pop anthem. The track encompasses a truly international feel with woodwind, guitar, and rippling electronic production. This is a song that asserts Terence as a star ready for Eurovision.
Casanova – Tutti
Blending a classic musical sound (evocative with the name of legendary seducer Casanova) with very contemporary pop vocals, Tutti is a feel-good delight. With the singer oozing charisma, Casanova delivers a crowd-pleasing sing-a-long chorus with a track that has delicate hints of classic renaissance elegance.
Ali – Paris Me Dit
Yet to be released in its studio version, Ali’s Paris Me Dit, is another up-tempo treat that sees soaring backing vocals join Ali’s smooth delivery. Middle Eastern flavoured backing instrumentation paired with synth-heavy electronic production creates an empowering, undeniably French dance track.
