Blair St. Clair hit the ground running with her musical aspirations straight after her starring stint on RuPaul’s Drag Race season ten. The American drag artiste dropped stellar 2018 dance album Call My Life featuring the powerhouse title track and excellent Now or Never. She subsequently followed this up with 2019 single Easy Love, and now releases her first release of 2020, Empty.
Empty is laid-back electronic pop track which sees the performer take on a more reflective tone as she sings: “I’ve been running on empty, pour it up cause my cup so empty, gotta make time for the real me.” The song feels like a post-break up anthem tapping into ideas of distraction and self-reflection after the end of a relationship.
