Music: Steps Return With ‘Tears on the Dancefloor’

British pop icons Steps were staples of many a nineties childhood before splitting in the early noughties. They returned briefly in 2012 for a successful tour and Christmas album, but now they return to their pop roots with brand new single Scared of the Dark – taken from the album Tears on the Dancefloor.


Lisa, Faye, Claire, H and Lee deliver on this high octane belter which starts with lush orchestral strings before upping the BPM to craft a track that is pure pop perfection. The album features the band’s cover of Benny Anderssons Band’s Story of a Heart as well as Thomas Anders’ bop Tears on the Dancefloor. Check out the full tracklist below:
