Danish Star Christopher Releases Anthemic New Single ‘Fool’s Gold’, Teases New Musical Chapter

The past year has been a stellar one for Danish star Christopher who as well as touring around the globe, found himself starring in Netflix hit A Beautiful Life. The star has teased new music, following up his last studio album, 2021’s My Blood, and this comes closer with new single Fool’s Gold.

The optimistic track sees Christopher sing: “Cause you ain’t living if you’re holding back, A kiss is better when you give it back, It’s just the way it is, The way it goes, And if that lonely road leads back home, You better keep on keeping cold, When you found fools gold…” with interesting vocal effects added onto the handsome Dane’s vocals. Christopher writes the track alongside Elias Kapari – the single’s producer. The production is ambitious and something unlike Christopher’s previous releasing, playing with absorbing electronic effects and building to an anthemic chorus.

The star shares: “I’m so excited to start this new chapter with you guys. This one is about chasing your dream and everything you sacrifice when you truly go after it! Is it worth it, or am I running for Fool’s Gold? I don’t have the answer, but now I have a song about it, and I really hope you like it! PS. Fool’s Gold is a mineral that looks exactly like gold but is completely worthless… you go figure it out.”

Christopher took to the stage on The X Factor Denmark, where he also performed A Beautiful Life – you can watch that here. The star will take to the stage in his native country for several stadium gigs and is expected to release his latest studio album this year.
