Cascada reveal details of their upcoming new album Studio 24, scheduled for release on October 11th 2024. The group lead by vocalist Natalie Horler give the first taste of the album, a cover of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell number Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.
The new music is the result of a collaboration with German producer Christian Geller which looks set to draw influence from the world of classic disco. Natalie describes the idea as pure passion: “What I’ve always loved about the Studio 54 era the legendary and the cry for freedom and self-expression. Back then, you could walk into the club naked or ride in on a white horse. Nobody batted an eyelid. I just love that kind of thing.”
The new version of Ain’t No Mountain High Enough captures the manage hopefulness of the original number, but injects it with some magic Cascada flair.
The act that have sold over 30 million records have been staples of the international pop scene thanks to their timeless club anthems including Everytime We Touch and Evacuate the Dancefloor – not to mention underrated Eurovision banger Glorious. We’re delighted that they will be celebrating the world of disco and dance music even further in Studio 24, which we will undoubtedly be streaming this October.
