Marcus & Martinus excelled at this year’s Melodifestivalen with their electronic dance anthem Air – the pair coming an honourable second place to Loreen. The Norwegian duo return with their first new music since the contest with 247365. The slick pop track is written by David Kreuger, Fredrik Kempe, Marcus Gunnarsen, Martinus Gunnarsen and Niklas Carson Mattsson.
Produced by David Kreuger, Niklas Carson Mattsson and Fredrik Kempe, 247365 sees the boys croon “24/7, 3-6-5 / You’re goin’ ’round and ’round like / 24/7 on my mind / Thank God I finally found ya / I need your love tonight to keep me satisfied,” against pounding electronic production. It’s an infectious summer anthem that Marcus & Martinus do incredibly well.
The duo performed the track for the first time in front of Sweden’s Royal Family at Lotta På Liseberg. Hopefully this marks the start of some further new music from Marcus & Martinus.
