Tina Arena announces her first album in eight years with Love Saves. The album is the Australian singer’s thirteenth studio LP overall following 2015’s Eleven and will contain freshly released single House. The musician shares that the album “represents a re-birth, a renaissance of sorts, a musical journal of my life during the pandemic.”
Tina expands: “Like many of us, I retreated inwards during the pandemic. I found solace in music. I processed my feelings the only way I know how – through my art. From rock bottom, I ran the gauntlet of human emotion. I faced my own demons, emerging the other side transformed, triumphant, renewed, and at peace. Remember, be brave, be vulnerable, and love saves!”
House is written by Mattias Lindblom, Michael Zlanabitnig, Tania Doko and Tina with Matthias also producing. It’s a dramatic yet mediative track with powerful instrumentation and passionate delivery from Tina. The number is wholeheartedly pop yet packs edgy backing vocals and electric guitar to give it some spikey turns.
Closing her thoughts on the new album, Tina adds: “I am grateful for the opportunity to share my musings with you – my loyal audience, fans old and new. If not for you, I couldn’t do what I do. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Love Saves is my most personal album to date. It is a window into my soul. It is raw. It is real. It is me. I do hope you enjoy the ride, for it’s been a heartbreakingly beautiful one.”
Tina has also released French language track Danser Sur Glace which is an alternative to album track Dancing On Thin Ice.
