Harry Taylor is a name that readers of Culture Fix may remember when we featured his single Dead + Gone back in November 2020. We are delighted to share Harry’s latest track Cross The Skyline which he writes himself, whilst Mike Mraz produces.
The NYC based singer-songwriter draws inspiration on his own move to New York for the track which captures the dichotomy of moving to a new city and adjusting to new surroundings. Cross The Skyline also touches on the exciting new potential of life in a new atmosphere – new friends, opportunities and experiences to be relished. Harry’s vocals sound immaculate as they dance atop buoyant electronic production from Mraz.
Harry’s impressive lyrics craft New York City as a character in his musical narrative whilst filling the track with optimistic and hopeful imagery capture the buzz of an exciting new journey.
