British singer-songwriter Calum Scott releases Rain In Ibiza, a balls to the wall banger that sees him collaborate with Felix Jaehn and The Stickmen Project. The club anthem follows hot on the tail of piano-driven ballad If You Ever Change Your Mind, the latter of which is expected to feature on an upcoming album from the handsome singer.
Scott serves as a writer on Rain In Ibiza with the collaboration with top DJs shining as Summer club banger which injects a bit of excitement into this frosty February. The dance anthem sees Scott sing “What’s your name? Nice to meet you / Por favor señorita / You’re the rarest of creatures / Like the rain in Ibiza…” against pounding dance beats with the singer’s husky vocal tones shining.
On an opposing side If You Ever Changed Your Mind penned by Scott and David H Gamson, Hayley Warner, and Maureen “Mozella” McDonald, is a far more restrained number that some may expect more from the UK based hitmaker. The track marks a high profile collaboration with producer Greg Kurstin.
Scott has also been riding high as a featured vocalist on Belgian DJs Lost Frequencies track Where Are You Now which peaked at #4 in the UK late 2021.
