Anton Ewald’s Melodfestivalen hit New Religion was a welcome return for the handsome Swedish pop talent and quickly made its way to the top of our most played songs playlists. The singer shows no signs of slowing down with his music with new single DeLorean delivering further pop perfection.
Channelling the eighties in sharp synthy production from Anton who sings, writes and produces the track which references the iconic Back to the Future car, DeLorean sees Anton sing: “I wish I had a DeLorean, To accelerate me back in time, So love wouldn’t lose, I would know what to do…” in lyrics he co-writes with Kevin Foo.
We caught up with Anton back in February where he shared that he was working on a new EP which hopefully DeLorean is the first taste of.
