We previously wrote about emerging talent Tom Skinner and his release Change, now Tom returns with his first track of 2021, Whole Again. The relaxed number has hints of melancholy about it but still packs an ethereal charm.
Tom sings “Never let me go, never let me down, I don’t wanna go, I don’t wanna drown,” in the track’s heartfelt lyrics. The singer has a charismatic vocal presence and delivers each line with an admirable conviction – shining against the guitar instrumentation and harmonised vocals. Tom marked the release of the track on his Instagram: “It’s been really really hard to find any energy or motivation to do anything when this pandemic’s been so overwhelming at times but I’ve managed to make something I’m really proud of all whilst stuck in my tiny bedroom.”
