Swiss pop heartthrob Bastian Baker begins a new musical chapter with single Dancing Without You. The anthemic guitar-driven track sees Bastian’s first slice of original music since his theme Here We Go from the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships.
Returning sans beard, Bastian sings: “Without you, without you, Don’t want to dance without you” on the single which he co-writes with Dan Richards. Tackling themes of parted lovers, the singer packs a wistful emotion into the song racked with hints of heartbreak and poignant memories.
Bastian’s most recent studio album was 2018’s self-titled LP. The album spawned the singles All Around Us and Stay. Dancing Without You is thought to be the first single from Bastian’s upcoming sixth album.
