Bright Light Bright Light Reveals Caveboy Collaboration ‘It’s Alright, It’s OK’

Bright Light Bright Light’s success rate for his upcoming album Fun City continues to operate at 100%. Following This Was My House (feat. Niki Haris, Donna De Lory & Initial Talk), the Jake Shears assisted Sensation, and breezy Summer disco anthem I Used to Be Cool, the Welsh pop supremo delivers It’s Alright, It’s OK.

The track sees the singer collaborate with Montreal based pop outfit Caveboy. This follows Bright Light Bright Light’s remix of the group’s recent single Obsessed. The stars collide to produce another slice of magic with the empowering queer self-love anthem It’s Alright, It’s OK. With lyrics such as “It’s alright. It’s ok. Break the silence. Break the chain. Live your life and don’t let anybody change what’s inside you,” the track is a euphoric slice of upbeat pop. The blend of Bright Light Bright Light’s smooth pop vocals, with the gorgeous distinctive sounds of Caveboy produces an intoxicating blend.

On It’s Alright, It’s OK, Bright Light Bright Light notes this is: “a song about LGBTQ+ identity, as we continue to fight against prejudice, homophobia, lazy categorization, misgendering, deadnaming, transphobia and racism.”

Fun City arrives on the 18th of September and also boasts collaborations with Sam Sparro, Andy Bell, Justin Vivian Bond, Big Dipper, KAYE, Mark Gatiss, The Illustrious Blacks, and Brendan Maclean.
