Neon Trees frontman Tyler Glenn and Culture Fix favourite Greyson Chance feature on Songs from “Love, Victor” (Original Soundtrack) a three track EP which debuts alongside the Hulu television series this week. They are joined by Isaac Dunbar, whose song God, This Feels Good also features in the series.
Glenn sings the main title theme Somebody to Tell Me, whilst Chance contributes the track Athlete. The main theme is a slick pop track which is slightly more in keeping with Glenn’s solo album Excommunication that his work with band Neon Trees. Athlete is an introspective mid-tempo that sees Chance sing against a subtle electronic melody, whilst Dunbar’s contribution is a slinky pop number centred more towards than the dancefloor than the others.
The ten episode season of Love, Victor is currently all available to stream on Hulu. It serves as a spin-off to the wonderful Love, Simon and centres on Victor Salazar, a new student in Creekwood High School, struggling with his sexual orientation and adjusting to a new city.
