Swedish pop favourite Robin Bengtsson releases a new track – Gavin Degraw cover I Don’t Wanna Be. The stripped back cover version is a lovely showcase for Robin’s voice against warming acoustic guitar. The track is expected to followed by three original tracks, which the Eurovision star teased on Instagram nine weeks ago. On the I Don’t Wanna Be acoustic cover, Robin noted:
“Out now!! Threw together a small acoustic cover of “I don’t wanna be” with Moh Denebi @denebi ⭐️ A little dobro, unmixed song, etc. Feels good. This song has been with me since I discovered @gavindegraw 2005. Fun to interpret it and release it so you others can hear. Now have a really good midsummer and we will hear again soon.”
The track has been a staple of Robin’s live performances. You can listen to it on Spotify below.
