It seems only yesterday that Foxes was being touted as Britain’s rumoured 2020 Eurovision entry – however, these rumours proved false. Yet thankfully the British Grammy winner is back with the first taste of her long-awaited third album, new single Love Not Loving You.
The up-tempo pop anthem is Foxes first slice of new material since last full length album All I Need in 2016 which peaked at #12 in the UK album charts. The singer notes:
“The last few years have been a space of growth and reflection. I’ve been able to really get real with myself and face things that essentially fucked me up, and reclaim everything. It’s been scary, but really empowering. This song is about finally falling in love with myself, about not depending on anyone else for my own happiness, And being able to stand on my own two feet. I hope the message in this song can inspire others to do the same.”
