Of all the members of Westlife, we have the biggest soft spot for cheeky chappy Nicky Byrne. Since the band went their separate ways he is the only star yet to release any solo material – however this changes with the announcement that he has been selected by broadcaster RTE to represent Ireland in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.
Nicky will be competing with upbeat power-pop anthem Sunlight – a likeable number that showcases his charming vocals and usually little-heard vocals. The track is likely to be the lead single from his debut solo album which is rumoured to be titled Kissing in Car Parks. Sunlight is produced by Wayne Hector.
