After her now legendary appearance at this year’s Melodifestivalen with unforgettable her single I Won’t Shake (La La Gunilla), Swedish talent Gunilla Persson returns with new music. The star works with André Zuniga and producer Rasmus Gozzi – the latter notable for his work with Swedish singer Fröken Snusk – yet Gunilla’s collaboration is one that is more befitting of her classy brand.
The Swedish Hollywood Wives star releases Viva La Gunilla, a flamboyant number that blends together country and dancepop and is set to become a regular fixture of Gunilla’s live performances which have gone down a storm in Scandinavia. Opening with the iconic lines: “1958 a star was born / With glamour you can see me on tour / Give me the love I’m living for / And I will always ask for more…” before building up to an addictive epadunk chorus – this is another gem to be added to Gunilla’s crown of hits.
The track comes accompanied with iconic artwork from photographer Thomas Engström which captures Gunilla’s glamorous Hollywood lifestyle.
We are delighted that Gunilla is releasing more music and we are hopeful that an album is now on the way for our new favourite Queen of Pop. Also Gunilla, when is the UK tour happening?
