She was an undeniable fan favourite at Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix with her anthemic Your Loss, but now Mari Bella showcases further musical talent with new single Love Me / Hate Me. The Norwegian pop talent, formerly known as Mari Bølla, co-writes with Aadne Eriksen Haaland, Ida Elise Andenæs-Låg and Margrethe Frich on the darkly energetic pop banger.
With production from Aadne Eriksen Haaland, Mari delivered the song live at Stjernekamp 2023, showcasing it as an intoxicating and earworming treat that will stay with listeners. The anthem is an ode to ignoring what others think of you, with Mari singing: “Cool it down, I’m coming in hot / No, I don’t wanna hear it / If you wanna see it / So love me, hate me / Do what you want,” on the track’s chorus.
