Danish Star Daniel Schulz Impresses On Latest Single the Slick ‘Dead Of Night’

Singer-songwriter Daniel Schulz remains one of Denmark’s biggest musical talents – something reaffirmed by his latest single Dead of Night. The single sees Daniel co-write with Frederik Nordsø, Fridolin Nordsø, Jonas Brandt-Henriksen and Lasse Baunkilde and follows his previous 2022 hit Make It – also released through Warner Music Denmark.

Dead of Night is infused with a smooth pop meets R&B sound crafting a suave mid-tempo groove. The track sees Daniel sing about a romantic adventure in the middle of the night with imagery of empty streets and closing bars.

Daniel holds the honour of the most streamed Danish debut single ever with Turn Back Time in 2017 clocking up more than 70 million streams. On his runaway success Daniel shares: “My bucket list is long! And even though the last five years has been a crazy, wild and fun ride, it feels like I’ve just started checking off. You learn a couple of things getting in to songwriting at an early age – accepting that it’s okay to revisit your insecurities and flaws from time to time – and these days I feel blessed and lucky to work with people who truly knows me and my story. My life and music feel more real than ever.”
