Shania Twain Announces ‘Queen of Me’ Album, Drops New Single ‘Last Day of Summer’ & Reveals UK Tour Dates

Shania Twain has been hitting a home run of late with stellar singles Not Just a Girl and Waking Up Dreaming. The Canadian country-pop queen now delights fans with the news of album Queen of Me arriving on the 3rd of February 2023. Whetting our appetite for the upcoming LP, Shania also releases new single Last Day of a Summer.

The singer shares: “These days, I’m feeling very comfortable in my own skin – and I think this album reflects that musically. Life is short and I want to be uplifted, colorful, unapologetic and empowered. I want to carry a clear message, particularly as a woman, to always remember my power and I hope the songs are a reminder to you, of that same power inside you!”

The album is set to deliver Shania’s expected blend of feel-good country pop, yet latest single Last Day of Summer takes a more slow-burning mid-tempo approach with a wistful nostalgic tone. Shania co-writes with Jack Savoretti and Mark Ralph, with the latter also producing.

Queen of Me is described as “the superstar’s most triumphant-feeling body of work; an album about standing in your own power and worshipping yourself.” We’ll hopefully experience that first hand on Shania’s upcoming UK tour dates.
