We have featured Norwegian twin brothers Marcus and Martinus on the site numerous times over the years, and always with original music. Now the pop talents return with a cover and a surprising one at that – yet Scandinavian viewers may remember this from their stint on The Masked Singer Sverige. Providing their take on Chris Isaak’s Wicked Game, the brothers collaborate with production outfit Neighbours.
Marcus & Martinus conjure up the track’s smoky brooding atmosphere of longing, which showcases a very different direction their previous single – slow-burning dance number When All the Lights Go Out which saw them collaborate with songwriters Herman Gardarfve, Melanie Wehbe and Patrik Jean.
Marcus & Martinus are currently preparing an EP due for release soon. It is not clear whether Wicked Game and When All the Lights Go Out will feature on this.
