Purple Disco Machine is currently one of the biggest figures working in dance music from his standalone music to his high profile remixes for the likes of Lizzo, Lady Gaga and The Human League. The German musician now joins forces with a French disco legend, Cerrone one of the pioneers of house music, for track Summer Lovin’.
The collaboration is a joyous celebration of dance music which blends the styles of both producers to create a timeless concoction. The track is both written and produced by Cerrone. As the title suggests, it is a buoyant and energetic electronic anthem ripe for bright Summer days.
Cerrone shares: “I have had the privilege of being sampled a lot of times throughout the years, and this track means my music now crosses 5 generations, thanks to the many talented artists and producers that have been a part of my work. I was immediately seduced by Purple Disco Machines’s work as soon as I heard it. With this collaboration, he succeeded once again in helping spread the spirit of disco.”
Cerrone by Cerrone will follow on October 14, 2022, on Because Music. This sees sixteen classic Cerrone tracks reworked by other artists then mixed by the French dance music icon.
