Dierks Bentley releases his first solo music of 2022 with new single Gold. The track follows his collaboration with Elle King, Worth a Shot, and is thought to be the first taste of his new studio album which will be his tenth and first since 2018’s The Mountain.
“I got somе rust on my Chevy but it’s ready to roll / I got a rhinestonе sky and a song in my soul / It ain’t a smooth ride, life, it’s a winding road / Yeah, it might be gravel, but it feels like gold…” Dierks sings on the chorus which he co-writes alongside Ashley Gorley, Luke Dick and Ross Copperman. The lyrics centre on appreciating life and this message is backed up by rousing guitar-driven production.
Dierks releases the track through Capitol Records. It is produced by Ross Copperman, Jon Randall, F. Reid Shippen and Dierks.
