We love a boozy country anthem – especially when it’s fronted by two feisty country ladies. The wine-soaked party anthem sees Kelsea Ballerini and the legendary Shania Twain collaborate on Hole in the Bottle, a feel good track that is set to brighten up your November.
Referencing Shania’s Man I Feel Like a Woman in a few amusing adlibs, Hole in a Bottle features lyrics such as “There’s a hole in the bottle (There’s a hole), Leakin’ all this wine (Leakin’ all this wine), It’s already empty and it ain’t even suppertime (And it ain’t even suppertime),” in its punchy two-minute thirty run time. Shania and Kelsea sound flawless together with the pair crafting the atmosphere of raucous bar scene where two gals are letting their hair down.
The track featured on Kelsea’s albums kelsea and ballerini in non-duet form, the latter serving a stripped back, intimate version of the track. We must say we’ve fallen for the new version featuring Shania – with the country icon’s presence having the gift of enhancing anything it touches.
