Thomas Rhett Begins 5th Album Era With Love Letter to the Country Genre ‘What’s Your Country Song?’

What’s Your Country Song asks Thomas Rhett on his latest single, a feel-good radio-friendly start to his latest album campaign. The track follows his charity single Be a Light which also featured the talents of Reba McEntire and Keith Urban.

“Everybody got a small town anthem, Everybody got a story to tell, Everybody got a hallelujah, Everybody been through a little hell…” Thomas sings before referencing classic country hits from the likes of George Strait, Hank Williams, Brooks & Dunn, and even his own father Rhett Atkins (who co-writes). The track produced by Dan Hoff and Jesse Frasure is a pure love letter to the country genre and is destined to get the singer’s latest album campaign off to an impressive start.

Thomas most recently released album Center Point Road in 2019 which spawned hits such as Look What God Gave Her and Beer Can’t Fix. The set peaked at #1 in both the country album and Billboard album chart. The singer is thought to be dropping his latest collection in 2021.
