It’s hard to think of anyone as funky as Morris Day with the iconic Time frontman still producing music into his 61st year. The singer returns with Lil Mo Funk which sees him re-team with his nephew Snoop Dogg – with the pair previously collaborating on 2017’s One Night Stand.
Day releases the track alongside his new book On Time: A Princely Life in Funk – his first autobiography. The book is sure to be a good read with the singer’s relationship with Prince and his work in both The Time and his solo career surely being of interest to funk music fans.
