Benjamin Ingrosso Releases ‘Flickan på min gata’ Ahead of Swedish Album ‘En gång i tiden’ on Friday

It seemed like it was only a few weeks ago when Benjamin Ingrosso noted that he was venturing into Swedish language music in the future. Well the future is here as Benji gears up to drop his debut Swedish LP En gång i tiden (Once Upon a Time) on Friday January 15th. The Swedish Eurovision talent has also unveiled the first musical taste of the album Flickan på min gata (The Girl On My Street) today.

Flickan på min gata is a woozy, nostalgic pop track which draws its influences from classic Swedish pop of yesteryear. The track is written by
Niclas Wahlgren & Benjamin and in its original form was written by the Dance You Off singer in his younger years. The track will be joined by the following, with more potentially added as the singer drip-feeds their titles through social media:

Benjamin’s debut Swedish album is thought to precede two potential English language albums scheduled for 2021. One paying homage to classic dancepop and the other more urban in style. In them meantime we will have En gång i tiden to tide us over, whilst showing another side to the Swedish heartthrob.
