Troye Sivan ups the tempo with latest track Easy, which follows April’s Take Yourself Home. The track and its predecessor feature on Sivan’s fifth EP, titled In a Dream, due on August 21st from Capitol Records. The Australian artist discussed the upcoming EP below:
“A story that’s still unfolding, this small collection of songs explores an emotional rollercoaster period in my life when the feelings and thoughts were most shockingly fresh. Revisiting these songs and moments is tough, but I’m proud of this music and excited to have it out in the world.”
Easy is co-written by with Swedish producer Oscar Görres – as well as Leland and Tayla Parx. The track details the crumbling of a relationship as one half trying to repair the damage, with Troye singing: “Burning the tears right out my face / What the hell did we do? / Tell me we’ll make it through” in the intense lyrics. The track is joined on the EP by Take Yourself Home and four others which can be seen below:
